Why can't I open the signed document via the link in Teamtailor in Google Chrome?

There's a limitation in the "Adobe Acrobat: PDF edit, convert, sign tools" chrome extension which doesn't open the PDF correctly.

To resolve this, disable the extension by via the Google Chrome's extension settings. (You can find this by clicking the three dots in the top right corner then selecting "More tools" -> "Extensions".)

When you're at the extension settings, search for "Adobe Acrobat" and if you find any active extensions, disable them and try to open the signed document again.
