Teamtailor template set up process
Step 1. Create a Scrive template in your Scrive account and open the “Add parties” tab. Add a custom field, name it “type” and click OK (see screenshot below).
Step 2. The user must type either “recruiter” or “candidate” in the newly created “type” field depending on which Teamtailor data should auto-populate the fields. This will determine if data will be fetched from the recruiter or candidate in Teamtailor.
For example: if the second party is the candidate and the user wants to fetch Teamtailor data from the candidate, the Scrive user must add a “type” field to the second party and enter the value “candidate”.
Step 3. The user will then be able to auto-populate below field types, or custom fields, with Teamtailor information by adding custom fields to the Scrive template with the Teamtailor API-name for the Custom field.
- Full name
The user is able to add custom fields to the Teamtailor candidate in “Custom fields” under the “Settings” tab.
You can afterwards find the Custom fields API-name in Teamtailor below: Settings -> Custom fields -> "Show API Settings".
After opening the field menu, scroll down towards "+ Show API settings".
Finally you can find the API name beside "Field API name".
Step 4. Upload a PDF document to the Scrive Template, this is required to be able to send documents via Teamtailor.
Step 5. To be able to auto-populate the Scrive document with the information from Teamtailor it's also very important that you place the fields on the document in Scrive.
See example screenshot below.
If it's a custom field from Teamtailor, then you need to name the new custom field in Scrive the same as the API name.
Also make sure that if you're planning to retrieve information from a Teamtailor custom-field for Candidates then the new Text field in Scrive needs to be created under the same party that has the "type":"candidate" field.
Step 6. Once all desired fields have been added to the template according to the steps above, the Teamtailor data should automatically be added to the contract when initiating signing.
