How to import HubSpot data into Scrive contract templates
To auto populate your contracts with CRM data, you need to initiate the signing process from either a HubSpot template or Scrive template.
To import HubSpot data into a Scrive contract template, you need to add a custom field for each type of HubSpot data you want to import. For general steps on how to create Scrive templates, see these support articles(https://support.scrive.com/hc/en-us/sections/115001222309-Templates).
Once you have created a Scrive contract template, go to the Fields tab to set up field mapping as follows:
- Add a text field to your document
- Set the Party to be the sender of the document.
- From the menu of field types, select New field.
-
Enter the new field name using one of the HubSpot fields from the PDFs linked below. You are also able to add customer HubSpot fields. In either case, the field in the Scrive template must have the exact spelling, capitalization and syntax as the name of the HubSpot field.
(Note that you can only use fields corresponding to each object, i.e documents created from Contact object can only use fields related to Contact, and similarly for Company and Team objects) -
The user is also able to import custom HubSpot fields which are created in Properties. To import custom fields, the user must follow the steps above and match the naming of the internal HubSpot name, see screenshot below.
