How can I upload several documents to Scrive?
There can only be one main file in Scrive. If you need to upload more files there are two ways to solve it.
1. Combine your PDFs to one PDF with e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader. Remember that the size of a PDF can’t exceed 10MB. If the PDF exceeds 10MB you have to compress it so that it gets smaller.
This can be done by using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
When you use this method the whole document will be signed in the same process. You will be able to place fields on the document if needed.
2. The second method is to have one main document and upload the others as attachments. When uploading attachments you need to choose that it should be mandatory to review the attachment.
The signatory part will need to check a box stating that they have read and accepted the content of the attachment. You can see when the box was checked in the Appendix 3 Evidence Log after the signing process is done.
Choose to merge the attachments with the main file so that the pages will be in the same document.
For more information about how to manage attachments please visit the attachment page.
You can’t add any fields or ask a person to sign an attachment but you will be able to see that they’ve read and accepted the content of the attachment.
