How to troubleshoot "More than one template matched" error
The error message "More than one template matched" refers to that the Scrive Go system matches your document towards several templates which leads to the engine not being able to trigger the correct workflow.
If you encounter the error "More than one template matched" there are a couple of things you can check for.
Every Scrive Go setup is customer specific and each template that your organization uses needs to be configured and managed by Scrive for the system to recognize and correctly handle your PDF. Hence, you should ask yourself the following;
- Are you trying to upload a new kind of document that hasn't been configured by Scrive?
- Have you performed any changes lately to the document that you're trying to send?
You can only upload a document if it has been configured by Scrive.
- If it has been possible to upload the document before, have you made any changes to the document?
- Do you have an earlier version of the document that does not generate the error that you can compare with?
If you notice that your document indeed is different from previous versions, you can re-use an old version that works. However, if it's not possible to use an old version (perhaps that version is obsolete in your organization) you need to contact Scrive to order a new setup.
If you cannot find a possible reason for the error appearing, contact support@scrive.com for help. Be sure to include the job id (as shown in the picture below).
