All the party information fields, including any that you add and customize, will be available as text fields that you can add to the document (on the Place fields tab). You can enter information in the fields before sending the document, or you can leave them blank and request that the signing party provide the information (see Add text fields).
You can delete any field that has an “X” icon in the corner. Red borders or shading indicate required fields.
Full name
Adding name information is highly recommended so it’s easy to identify the party later when tracking the status of the signing process and managing the completed document in your E-archive. This field is not required, but you can’t delete it. If you leave it blank, the signing party will be required to fill it when they receive the document for signing.
In the simplest signing process, this is the only required field. Depending on your business requirements, there may be other required fields.
Mobile
Enter the party’s mobile number to use the SMS invitation and confirmation options. Make sure the number is in the format: “+” followed by country code.
Add field
To add a field:
- Click Add field. The new field is required (red border):
- Click in the new field (What field is it?) to open the menu to select a pre-set field name:
- To create a custom field, select New field, enter a name, and click OK.
