This article contains the following sections, click to see the instruction for the version of Scrive Online that you are currently using:
Scrive New:
- Invitation order. Sets the order the party will receive the invitation to sign (or view) the document. For example, if you set the order to 2nd, that party will not receive their invitation until all the parties that you set to 1st have signed the document.
-
Role. Each party can be either a signer, a viewer or an approver. The initiating party can either be a signer or a viewer only. A Signing party is required to sign the document. A Viewer can only view the document and any attachments. If you (the logged-in user) are not a signing party, be sure to set yourself as a viewer. An Approver is required to approve the document.
- Invitation. Determines the method for the party to receive their signing invitation. Email, Link and SMS invitations allow the party to sign on any device; they only need access to a browser. If you select In-person meeting, the signing party will not receive an invitation and can sign on a device with the Scrive eSign app installed. You, the sender, can also sign if you are logged in to your Scrive account. If you select one of the SMS options, Mobile will become a required field (shaded red). If you select the Link option, you will be redirected to the status screen where you can choose between copying the link or composing an email.
- Authentication to sign. Require the signing party to authenticate themselves before signing.
- PIN by SMS. If you don’t enter a mobile number before sending your document for signing, the signing party will be prompted to provide it during the signing process.
- Swedish BankID, Norwegian BankID, Danish NemID. If you select this method, the ID number field will be added. If you don’t enter the party’s personal identity number, they will be prompted to provide it during the signing process.
- Authentication to view. Require the party to authenticate themselves before viewing the document and attachments. If you select one of these methods, ID number will be added as a required field (shaded red).
- Confirmation. Select how the party will receive their confirmation when the document has been signed.
- If you select Email, the signed document will be attached to the confirmation email.
- For SMS, the text message will include a link to the document so the recipient can download it. If you don’t enter a mobile, you can still use the SMS option; the signing party will be prompted to provide their mobile during the signing process.
- If you (the logged-in user) are not a signing party, None is useful because you can track the signing process in your E-archive.
